In HAU: OUT LOUD we enter the historic HAU1 venue, built in 1908, and ask: how can pre-internet theatre architecture be of use now and who is its audience? “HAU: OUT LOUD” brings the public together in a shared exploration of what is a performance space and who is looking.
Live art, music, video, performance, an artificial intelligence ‘ritual’ and more offer the public many different entry points into the conversation, including ART ENGAGEMENT projects you can take part in NOW. Click here to draw, paint, colour, collage, write on the empty stage and click here to be part of the Artificial Intelligence Ritual.
The public can roam freely throughout the building, choosing their own way as they respond to this unique view of the multiple possibilities the space and community offers.
