Epiphany is a play development tool meant to celebrate a given community, engage them and deepen our appreciation of the central element of drama: the moment of insight. The process invites 8 to 12 people from the public to submit personal stories depicting a moment when they gained an important piece of insight. Stories are placed in the play’s pre-existing structure resulted in the full production of a shared and intimate exchange that celebrates surprising, moving and profound moments of insight.

This project and its accompanying process are the most straightforward means we have found to get to the heart of the theatrical medium.

“Anyone who spoke could hardly contain praise, describing the show as “powerful” and “generous.”
